This issue 18 Seconds Magazine’s Single Lens Reflux article is doubly interesting to me, I’m currently planning a trip to New Zealand and hope to get some surfing and surf photography done in between the sight seeing.
Jim Culley talks us through a few of his photo’s, he’s based on the North island in New Zealand, has a full time job teaching but takes some awesome surf photo’s too, be sure to listen to his description of each of the shots, there’s a lot of spectacular empty line-ups, a bit like the shots you see from Norway, but the water’s a lot warmer and the scenery is a lot greener.
I can’t wait to get over there and see some of these set-ups for myself, the whole country looks amazing, if you needed any more convincing have a look at Chris Garden’s facebook page (new website coming soon) which features even more jaw droppingly scenic line-ups in New Zealand, this time based in Dunedin on the South Island.
